Last year the Construction Training Centre opened its doors to the public.
It was built to meet the increasing demand of the industry in the South West.
One area of our provision which is proving to be particularly successful is scaffolding. With local people previously having to travel to Birmingham and beyond to complete their training, the Construction Training Centre is very convenient for local scaffolders.
In partnership with world-renowned scaffold training provider Simian, we deliver a growing portfolio of CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolding Record Scheme) accredited courses, from entry level (COTS) to upskilling.
The training takes place in an impressive 10 metre high, 1000m2 indoor practical area. This is the first of it’s kind in the area, and is proving to be a popular training destination for scaffolders across the South West.
